I've updated this post because there was a problem with the link to the RBR article.

After reading BG's post on this, i was thinking of doing it this year. does anyone know what The Roman Ride was/is?.

I am a participant in the Round Britain and would recomend it to any one who enjoys a bit of a challange and touring on a Bike. Half the fun is the planning and discovering as much info on the given land marks as you can before you undertake the ride. The whole thing kicks off on April 1st or Good Friday which ever is first and you do as much or as little as you want at your own pace. I have a series of weekend and Bank holiday jaunts and then have a week in Scotland and the North of England. have a look at the web site and maybe give it a go!
