i know that you can get a vignette for Switzerland from a garage before crossing the border but can anybody let me know if it is the same for Italy/Austria. Whats the crack on filtering in holland, germany, italy. Lastly,any .recomendadations or route maps for Alps and/or Black forest ferry booked for 29th July - rough itinary Amsterdam - heidelberg heidel berg - black forest blackforest - interlaken area interlaken - sion via Sanaan - martigney Sion - alps passes (2 days) across to stelvio pass back to sion sion -val disere- susa susa - monaco monaco - portofino back to sion Thats 12 days riding with 3 days contingency for rest days if i like a place. Next I have a fournights hiking before heading back on the 26th August to catch the ferry on 27th. Cheers Mally |

Very jealous here. I'd like to go off and tour northern italy......but too chicken to do it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush21.gif) Haven't got any tips for you so just have a fab time and remember to take your phrase books with you in case you get stuck somewhere in the back of nowhere (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lbhh.gif)
